Kids love helping out in the kitchen. This hands on (yes, it could get messy) program will provide your child the opportunity to build their confidence and practice important skills as the STAR chef! For 3-6 year olds

FRIDAYS, April 4,11 & 25 @ 10am

Learning through play is the theme of this months group for 1's & 2's. Children will explore a variety of hands on activities that focus on gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional and language developmental skills. Please note, as this class is only for 1's & 2's and their caregiver, we are unable to accommodate older siblings. Registration is required. Parented class

We are excited to offer Stay & Play in Stavely at the Youth Hall Join us for crafts, fun play areas, circle time and more! Its also a great opportunity to connect with other children and parents/caregivers.

A brief targeted intervention in a one-to-one format that assists parents to develop parenting plans to manage behavioral challenges and skill development issues. Parents meet with one of our accredited practitioners for 3-4 sessions over a period of 4-6 weeks.

Sessions can be done in person, over the phone , Zoom or as a combination of all.

Family Transitions is a program for divorced or separated parents. It provides you new ways to support your child – and yourself – from the fallout from a family split.

Family Transitions is offered in a group with other parents, or one-on-one with one of our trained facilitators. We will discuss new ideas, techniques and strategies to help you through the day-to-day dramas and ongoing trauma of transitioning through separation or divorce. These ideas can help you cope with stress, anger and change, resolve conflict, and communicate better with your ex.

Stepping Stones is based on Triple P’s positive parenting strategies. It helps you manage problem behaviour and developmental issues common in children with disability. It also helps encourage behaviour you like, cope with stress, develop a close relationship with your child and teach your child new skills. You choose the type of Stepping Stones help based on your own needs.

Fear-Less isn’t about eliminating fear altogether – sometimes, fear protects us. Instead, it’s about giving your family a toolbox of strategies, skills, and knowledge to manage anxious feelings and stop unnecessary worrying.

We explore anxiety and what it is, ways to promote emotional resiliency and introduce strategies for supporting your child with anxiety.

We are offering a new program that will help new parents:

*Adjust to life with a new baby *Build a positive relationship with baby *Promote baby’s development and learning, new skills and behaviours as they grow.
