We offer a variety of Parent & Child Programs for 0-6 years old, Kids Club Programs for 7-12 year olds, Outreach Programming, Parent Education Programs, Ages & Stages Questionnaire and Family Support

Little Explorers-Lomond

MONDAY, June 3,10,17 & 24 @ 10:30am
The Little Explorers Program will provide children the opportunity to connect with the natural world through hands-on outdoor activities! Make sure you dress for the weather and outdoor nature play! This program is for 2-6 yr olds. *Parented class, Registration is required.
*We will meet at the park by the library in Lomond.
Little Campers-High River

TUESDAYS, June 4,11,18 & 25 @ 1:30pm
Join us for a program all about camping! We will have fun with camping themed songs, stories, activities and crafts!! This program is geared for children 2-6 years of age.*Parented class. Registration is required.
Wee Imagine- High River

WEDNESDAYS, June 5,12,19 & 26 @10am
Who doesn't love a great book? We have picked four favourites to share and explore. Each week is a new book with fun activities.
This program is perfect for 2-6 year olds! Registration is required. *Parented class

Stay & Play- High River

Greater Foothills Family Centre- Unit 106, 303 9th Ave SW, High River Come in and check out our BEAUTIFUL playroom! We always have crafts, learning centres, play areas with fun toys to explore. Its also a great way to connect with others in your community. Can’t make it to our High River space? Check out the Outreach communities that we visit weekly.

DIY Father's Day Fun

For Parents & Caregivers

Triple P- One on One Supports

A brief targeted intervention in a one-to-one format that assists parents to develop parenting plans to manage behavioral challenges and skill development issues. Parents meet with one of our accredited practitioners for 3-4 sessions over a period of 4-6 weeks.
Sessions can be done in person, over the phone , Zoom or as a combination of all.

Transitions for Separation & Divorce

Family Transitions is a program for divorced or separated parents. It provides you new ways to support your child – and yourself – from the fallout from a family split.
Family Transitions is offered in a group with other parents, or one-on-one with one of our trained facilitators. We will discuss new ideas, techniques and strategies to help you through the day-to-day dramas and ongoing trauma of transitioning through separation or divorce. These ideas can help you cope with stress, anger and change, resolve conflict, and communicate better with your ex.
Stepping Stones Triple P

Stepping Stones is based on Triple P’s positive parenting strategies. It helps you manage problem behaviour and developmental issues common in children with disability. It also helps encourage behaviour you like, cope with stress, develop a close relationship with your child and teach your child new skills. You choose the type of Stepping Stones help based on your own needs.
FEAR-less Triple P

Help your child manage anxiety and become more emotionally resilient.
Meet one-on- one with one of our facilitators and learn strategies for supporting your child with anxiety. Sessions will help provide a better understanding of anxiety and fear and learn tools and strategies to help your child. Family Link- One on One Appointments

Whether its to find out more about programs and services that we offer, chat about your child’s development, ask questions about parenting challenges or to access information and referrals about other community supports, you can book a time to meet with one of our team and chat one-on one. In person or via Zoom *Child care may be available, please ask.
